Games and Rhymes
This is an excellent book on dog training for children. It is beautifully illustrated by Mike Ayers. The idea of this book is to help you implement simple dog training games with your child or in a dog training class for children. The goal is for the child to forge a deep, strong friendship with his or her dog and have a dog that listens to and respects the child, leading to a relationship in which the child and dog can play together with good manners toward each other.
The instructions are short, simple, and clear and helpful pictures accompany them. The child can read the words as well as follow the pictures to know what to do. In the back of the book you'll find further explanation of the uses and purpose of the exercises.
